Assassin’s Creed was among the more engaging games ever brought out and the latest Assassin’s Creed 3 has managed to garner good reviews and sales as well. This game is currently available on Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo Wii U. The first batch of DLC, the Hidden Secrets Pack, for this game was also released recently, but not everything was smooth sailing.
Many gamers have been left Assassin’s Creed 3 DLC fuming because once downloaded, it ended up erasing their mission progress and stats data from the game. Ubisoft has acknowledged the issue and is reportedly working to fix the bug. According to forums on their site, this issue has affected only a small number of players but the company is hoping to resolve this matter as soon as possible. However, this small number could be anywhere in the hundreds of thousands range, given the sheer number of gamers who bought this game in October.
The company has also gone on to suggest a way to work around this issue while playing the game, in the meantime. Ubisoft recommends that players avoid loading their saved AC3 games while the DLC is being downloaded. For some reason, that seems to be triggering the erasing of the data.
