Looking for some more choices in mobile devices? We hear that Sony plans to add a successor: Xperia UL in its already existing lineup of Xperia smartphones. A device in the making, images reported on the web suggest that the Xperia UL is designed on similar lines as its predecessors. Slim and stylish, Sony’s flagship device for early this year, Xperia Z bumped up in the market with great success. The Xperia ZL followed, which ticked off in the smartphone market with its sharp razor and compact design.
With an aim to establish its foothold in the competitive smartphone market, Sony also unveiled the waterproof Xperia ZR with an exciting feature that lets users record HD videos up to five feet underwater.
Coming back to the latest rumour, the Sony Xperia UL might go onboard with a waterproof and dust proof feature, just like its other counterparts. Now weather it will let us take underwater videos like the ZR stays unclear. The device will sport an upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with a full HD display of 5-inch and a 2300 mAh battery. It will hold 2GB of RAM with an internal storage of 32GB.
However, information regrading its resolution and operating system stays unclear but the device is expected to have the latest version of Android Jelly Bean.
Another rumour suggests that the Japanese company plans to launch the Sony i1 with a Snapdragon 800 processor, which might be released all over the globe.
Now the question stays that if the rumours turn out to be true, will Sony launch the Xperia UL outside of Japan?
