Is there a tablet war on the cards? While the brand new slimmer and lighter iPad Air launch recently,it is unfair to compare it with the Google Nexus 10 to an extent. Simply because the latter released almost a year back. But with the second generation of Google Nexus set to come out, here are some of its features viz-a-viz iPad Air features.
Screen – iPad Air will have 9.7 inch retina display screen. Google Nexus 10 second generation will most likely have a 10 inch screen.
Processor – A7 processor powers the iPad Air, Google Nexus 10 II on the other hand is reported to have quad core Snapdragon 800 processor, unlike its previous version.
OS – iOS 7 is by far the major reason to buy iPad Air. Apple aficionados can enjoy new features that include the Airdrop facility and control center. Multi tasking is easier on iOS 7 interface too. Google Nexus 10 2 will have Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
Flash Storage – 16, 32, 64 and 128GB variants of iPad Air are available. Google Nexus 2nd generation tablet will have internal memories up to 64 GB but the storage can be expanded using MicroSD cards.
Battery: iPad Air battery can run up to 10 hours if some rumors are to be believed. The good news for Google Nexus 10 II users is, they can enjoy the 9000 mAh battery ability.
Price: iPad Air 16GB variant is priced at $499 and will be available from November 1. Google Nexus 2 32GB to be available at a price of $499.
