The AnTuTu benchmark database has confirmed the specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 ahead of its big launch scheduled to be held on June 12 2014. The tablet has been in headlines for quite some time and is termed as one of the much awaited tablets of this year. The tablet is likely to be launched as Samsung’s first tablets to be equipped with AMOLED displays and feature top-notch specs and features.
The new AnTuTu benchmark listing has claimed that the tablet would have a screen size of 8.4 inches AMOLED display with a pixel resolution of 2560 x 1600. The tablet would be powered by an octa-core Exynos 5420 processor, Mali T-628 graphics and 3GB of RAM. The tablet would have an internal storage capacity of 32GB and would also feature an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing shooter.
The tablet is also very strong on the software side, and would operate on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. However, the listing has not disclosed any details regarding the rumored fingerprint scanner, but the tablet is nonetheless likely to have one integrated into its home button, similar to what was featured in the flagship Galaxy S5 smartphone.
