Amazon Kindle Fire Tablets seems to have stolen the hearts of many Android Tablet fans in the U.S. The device swept a whopping 59% percent share in the US Android Tablet market. According to data released by Localytics Amazon has sold 500 Million Kindle Fire Tablets in its business.

Localytics recommends that Android developers should be sure of the fact that their Tablet based apps should pop up in App Store. Since Google Play Store is not available on the Kindle Fire, Android developers are missing on potential buyers.

The Barnes and Noble Nook fells in second place with a 10% market share while Samsung Galaxy slates were third with 9% of the market. The Google Nexus 7 took fourth place with an 8% market share.
