After iPhone 6 it’s Time for Cheaper iPhone, Are You Ready!

Apple with its top-end devices has always pinched your pocket, but the launch of cheaper iPhone seems to be more affordable choice for the users. The 4.7 and 5.7-inch iPhone were intended to release in Q1 of 2014. However, if rumors are to be believed, inexpensive iPhones could be a reality this year only.

Pegatron is currently manufacturing the cheaper versions with plastic chassis and also handling orders for iPad Mini. DigiTimes reports that Pegatron, the Taiwan-based supply chain maker, would start shipments in August for iPhones and iPad Mini. The shipments for its components would begin in July giving a fair share of benefit to chassis supplier Casetek.

The report further added that the trial production for 5S and the cheaper iPhone would be in July followed by mass production in August and launch in September. However, the report also stated that the next generation iPhone and 9.7-inch version of iPad will only appear in early 2014 and Foxconn will be manufacturing the same.

Features and specs of the cheaper iPhone still remains a mystery. The only clue revealed for iPhone is about the plastic casing of the same to make it more affordable and cheaper at around $99.
