Mr. S. We have consciously made an effort to redesign the entire range of Acer products keeping in mind the key aspects that are important for the SMB segments such as Security and Durability. The TravelMate P243 boasts of Acer’s own dynamic security technology solution that takes care of Data Protection. At the same time, we also believe that the TM P243 is one of the sturdiest notebooks in the market.”

Special attention has been paid to the security features while designing the laptop. Its security features include pre-boot authentication (PBA) with BIOS/HDD password that will play an important part protecting the laptop. Another interesting feature is Personal Secure Drive (PSD) which allows the user to store files in an encrypted format. This means that even if the laptop is stolen or if someone tries to access it through unethical ways the data cannot be accessed. In addition to all this Acer also offers another layer of security which is the Backup/eRecovery Manager to backup all valuable data and media library.
