Amazon Echo for Smart Homes Design

Amazon’s Lab126 R&D team is currently working on the design of Amazon Echo for Smart Homes Design. Currently, the company is deciding between using a 10-inch display or a 13-inch display. It is being said that a 10-inch display would match that of the most recent Echo Show model, if the new Amazon Echo for Smart Homes gets a 13-inch screen, then it would be the biggest screen on any device that hardware division of the company has ever released.

Amazon has experimented with wall-mounted Echo devices before, like with its Amazon Echo wall clocks released in 2018. The company believes that wall-mounting a display device could give owners more options for where in the house to place it, rather than having to find an empty space on a table or desk.

The new Echo will serve as a digital command centre and will be designed for showing users upcoming events on their calendars. Users will be able to use the smart home device to control lights and locks when connected to their network. It would also play songs and videos from streaming services, and answer any questions that one might have for Alexa.
