Earlier touted as the Nokia EOS, the Nokia Lumia 1020 is expected to officially arrive on July 11th in New York.
Marketed on a huge 41-megapixel rear camera, this feature will be the device’s biggest selling point if rumors are to be believed. This Windows Phone 8 device will boast a powerful Xenon flash on the rear to capture clear and vivid shots.
The smartphone is also marked to be the first Nokia device holding powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, which will make it stand in completion with other successful giants such as the HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z.
Expected to sport 4.5-inch display, the Lumia 1020 might roll out with a 720p resolution. However, some reports also hint towards a 768 x 1280 AMOLED display while few others indicate towards a 720 x 1280 OLED screen.
Considering the battery, the smartphone will sport a 2000mAh battery, locked into a unibody case. The Lumia 1020 might also hold 32GB of internal storage with a microSD slot.
Good news for those who love listening to radio, the Lumia 1020 is expected to come fitted with a FM radio transmitter.
However, Nokia hasn’t spilled the beans on whether the device will sport a metal or polycarbonate body. Certain reports indicate that the smartphone might come waterproof, hence with a full aluminum body.
Well, just few more days until July 11th when the day shall itself reveal all that the Nokia Lumia 1020 holds.
