Google Nexus 7: AT&T Offers The Tablet With A Surprise $100 Credit

As if the Nexus 7 weren’t popular enough already, here’s another reason why you may want to consider picking up Google’s 7-inch tablet. U.S. telecom carrier AT&T is now offering the 3G Nexus 7 on a two-year data plan, along with a $100 bill credit.

For those who have unlocked Nexus 7 models and don’t mind AT&T’s service, this new plan is surely appealing. But, of course, all good things come with a deadline. So, if you’re planning to switch to this two-year contract, do hurry up since this offer closes on February 14th, 2013.

The Nexus 7 runs on Android Jelly Bean and is powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM. The screen has a resolution of 1280X800 pixels, and it comes in two variants – a 16 GB model and a 32 GB model. However, you can’t expand the memory beyond this since it lacks a microSD card slot. It’s got a 1.2 MP front-facing camera which is more than adequate to make video calls to your loved ones, and its overall form factor is also rather sleek.
