What is interesting though is that a new photo of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has been spotted which is neither grey nor white rather it is ‘Amber Brown’. The phone has a NTT Docomo logo which is most probably a Japanese variant of the phone. Dominating the smartphone global market with 29% of share Samsung said in a statement that it may ship 510 million handsets with the commencing of New Year. Out of total 390 million would be smatphones. Last year Samsung shipped 420 million units and with this year’s 510 million phones there is a raise of 20% in its shipment. Apart from shipping the popular Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Samsung Galaxy S3 and other Galaxy devices (also expecting Samsung Galaxy S4) , the Korean giant would be shipping Windows 8 powered phones. Research firm HIS iSuppli, said that in 2012 Samsung took away the reigns from Nokia who in 2011 ha 30% share of the market with Samsung trailing at 24%. Here is some spicy rumor doing rounds in Korea: Samsung Galaxy SIV is all set to see the light of the day in April. SIV would be first in its league to be coupled with the S Pen and may have same features as Galaxy Note 2. Moreover, this new flagship model of Samsung is expected to strengthen the hold of Korean giant in Smartphone market. Alongside the S-Pen rumors the other rumors which are getting baked in the oven are that SIV may have 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display. The device may run on Jelly Bean and would be powered by a quad-core Exynos 5440 chip prepared using 28nm high-K metal gate technology. The successor of SIV may have 13-megapixel rear auto-focus camera and slightly heavy body than S3.
What is Samsung offering us this New Year: A premium suite upgrade for Galaxy Note. On its global website Samsung has revealed its newest upgrade giving reasons to Galaxy Note users to rejoice. The upgrade will let the users do multitasking similar to that of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 i.e.work on the same screen without any changes in the screen.
